Dry air will continue to limit storms and keep skies mostly sunny

Sarasota, Fla. (WWSB) - The first full day of fall will not feel like it, in fact the feels like temperatures will be approaching 100!

Some dry air has settled overhead and that means only a few pop-up showers and isolated thunderstorms. The rain chance is low at 20%.

Highs will be in the upper 80s at the beaches and low 90s elsewhere. This pattern will continue on into Saturday.

Sunday we will begin to see a few more storms but still most of the day should be dry.

If you up early enough on Friday morning, 6:47 a.m. to be exact, look to the NW about 10 degrees above the horizon and you may see the International Space Station go by. It will travel from the NW to the SE in the sky and should be able to see it for 6 mins.
