SARASOTA, CO. FL (WWSB) - Keep the umbrellas nearby during mainly the afternoon and evening as we get back to a more normal summer pattern this week.
With a steady ESE wind during the morning and a west coast sea breeze developing near the coast each day expect a collision of the two later in the day through the work week. This will allow storms to develop inland and then move toward the coast cooling things down later in the day.
Highs will be in the low 90s with a heat index nearing 100 each afternoon.
Lows will be in the upper 70s.
Tropical storm Franklin will be moving W. across the Yucatan peninsula on Tuesday. This system will stay well to our south so nothing to worry about here.
Another system E. of the Leeward Islands has a very low chance of developing over the next several days as it moves NW toward the S. Bahamas.
