On February 16, 2013, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office cattle dog escaped from his special trailer which was NB on I75 around the Fruitville exit in Sarasota county.This dog was personally paid for by Agriculture Detective Lowell Cain who often uses him while working to help heard lose cows off the roadways.He is his personal dog but somewhat of the HCSO Agriculture Unit's mascot. "Doc" is a mixed breed cattle dog who is very friendly and weighs about 60 lbs. A $500 reward is being offered.Anyone who may have seen or has any information on the location of "Doc" is asked to call Sgt. Ron Cain at Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
