VENICE, FL - Venice Police say they're trying to link registered sex offender Ronald Karas of Venice to at least one other incident of trying to lure a woman into his van.

Wednesday they arrested Karas for false imprisonment. They say he offered a ride and a job to a 20-year old female. Once inside the woman says he offered sex in exchange for money, started touching her, and wouldn't let her out. The second incident happened a few weeks back with a young teenage girl.

Venice Police Chief Tom McNulty believes Karas was cruising for victims. "We have a guy who was virtually stalking women. A predator at this point."

Karas was actually wearing a G-P-S monitoring ankle after being charged in North Dakota for luring a child to perform sex acts.

We will have much more on the story coming up tonight on ABC 7.
