This story is ridiculous on so many levels. I see the establishment's view to adhere to their strict guidelines. First of all, if you give an inch to the general public, they will take a mile. If they let the infant stay, next time it could be a 2 year old, then a 5 year old, and then they could have a real problem. Getting a liquor license is difficult, and keeping it is just as hard. On the other hand, I understand the patron's point ... he had an infant. I can see how he could question the rule. HOWEVER, the patron is an attorney. He knows the law, and how difficult it can be for any establishment to get and keep a liquor license. In the end, I have to side with the restaurant. I just hope this doesn't wind up wasting our County Court's time and money. The patron is, after all, a lawyer.7 months ago
