SARASOTA - Before Nik Wallenda walks a wire across the Grand Canyon next month, he'll prepare in his hometown. There's still some paperwork to complete, but Wallenda will practice at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota.

CAMERON, Ariz. (AP) — Florida aerialist Nik Wallenda has planned his highest tightrope walk yet, and he says he'll do it without a harness.

SARASOTA - The Suncoast's very own highwire daredevil has announced the date for his next death-defying tightrope stunt.

SARASOTA – In just a few days we’ll find out when Sarasota's own Nik Wallenda will walk on a tightrope over the Grand Canyon.

Wallenda's wife, sister and cousin all perform alongside Nik.
