SAO PAULO (AP) - It's not your Apple's iPhone. A Brazilian company has begun selling smartphones with the iPhone brand after winning the legal right to use the name in Latin America's biggest country. Adding insult to Apple Inc.'s injury, the phone runs on the archrival Android operating system. Gradiente SA says in a statement that in 2008 the government gave it the right to use the brand on its cellphones. Brazilian trademark office spokeswoman Maratan Marques says Gradiente requested permission to use the brand before Apple did and can use it through 2018. Brazil Apple spokeswoman Maria Parra Rodriguez says the company has no immediate comment. Gradiente says on its website it started selling its Android 2.3 phone on Tuesday for 600 reals ($300).

  11. youtube Myakka Skunk Ape

    Friday, May 31, 2013 5:02 pm

This is real footage my son and I took in Myakka March 2, 2013. We had iphones with us only (WAIT FOR THE ZOOMED IN SHOTS). You will see actual still shots of this thing (Myakka Skunk Ape). Some have called it a bigfoot or sasquatch. The only editing we did to these pictures was to lighten them up some. At one point you hear us talk of two, it was deer out there hiding in the tall grass. Maybe what it was after. To see it on video pause around 2:03-2:08. You can see it in the middle at the thin tan line of grass just under the tree line. Also here you will see the deer to the left a little closer in. They seem to appear several times then lay back down.

Seconds after the Boston Marathon bombs exploded, Green pulled out his smartphone and took the photo of the chaos developing a couple hundred yards in front of him -- the smoke, the people running in panic. The Jacksonville businessman then put his phone back in this pocket and went to help the injured. It wasn’t until Thursday that Green realized what he had – a picture of suspect Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, distinctive in his backward white baseball cap, walking away from the scene. (AP Photo/Phil Sears)
