Should Sarasota Ringling Redskins Youth Football consider changing its name?

Pressure continues to mount on Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder to change the name of his NFL team, including a recent court ruling that voided the team's trademark on it. Should the local youth football league that shares the name also consider changing?

SARASOTA, Fla. -- The subject of whether the Washington Redskins NFL team should retain its team name has been a growing issue as of late.  But what about other regional teams using the same name?

Just this week, the U.S. Patent Office has ruled the Washington Redskins nickname is "disparaging of Native Americans" and that the team's federal trademarks for the name must be canceled.

ABC 7's Todd Dunn is talking with a trademark attorney about how the controversy could affect Sarasota's Ringling Redskins youth sports league.  He will have a full report tonight on ABC 7 News.
