Tervis breaks ground on new 'Innovation Center'

VENICE, Fla. - The company known for their insulated drinkware breaking ground on a new 24,000 square foot facility.

It's a good sign of local growth. Since 2010 the privately owned company says they have tripled in size to more than 800 workers.  Originally brought to the Osprey area in the 1960's.

The new facility is being called an Innovation Center. the company is looking to expand its product line.
