Tax break arrives for school shoppers

SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. - Good news for back-to-school shoppers, the annual sales tax holiday is underway.

Florida is one of 17-states to offers the tax break. According to the national retail federation, families are expected to spend an average of $635.00 on clothes and supplies.

So what's included?  Clothing and footwear that cost $75.00 or less. School supplies that cost $15.00 or less per item. And new this year, personal computers and some related accessories for personal use, as long as those items are $750 or less.
