SARASOTA COUNTY, FL - It doesn't take much to become a substitute teacher according to the State of Florida, a high school diploma and a teaching certificate will get you in.
Not the case in Sarasota County, where the standards are higher.
While a bachelor's degree and a certification have been required, the county is lowering that standard for some schools.
