SARASOTA, FL (WWSB) - Tropical Storm Alberto remains disorganized early this Sunday morning, but it could still bring occasionally burst of heavy rain and tropical storm-force wind gusts, especially as it passes to the west of us this afternoon and evening.
A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for the Suncoast today even though the storm is predicted to make a turn to the northwest later in the day. There is also a flood watch in effect for most of the state.
While we need to keep our guard up, it now looks like rainfall might not be as heavy as earlier predicted.
Your ABC7 First Alert Weather team will keep you posted throughout the night and the rest of Sunday with updates online, on-air and through our weather app.
