High pressure is wedged between an approaching front from the west and a developing tropical low in the Atlantic. This pattern brings us a northeast to east wind again today. A few scattered showers or patches of drizzle are possible today, as in the last few days, but most will stay dry. Temperatures will be above the norms with highs in the upper 80's or lower 90's. On Friday a cool front will approach and move past on Friday night. This will make for a cooler and drier weekend with highs in the low 80's and lows in the low 60's. This shot of cooler air may last a few more days than our last cool down.
