PITTSBURGH (AP) - The Pirates have their catcher. They also have their setup man. Still, there's plenty left on general manager Neal Huntington's to-do list before the team reports for spring training in two months.

Pittsburgh signed former New York Yankee catcher Russell Martin to take over behind the plate and brought back reliever Jason Grilli. The Pirates remain in the market for another starting pitcher and could be looking for outfield help to surround All-Star centerfielder Andrew McCutchen.

Huntington said Friday he's "happy" with the work the team has done in the offseason and expects to look for upgrades as the Pirates try to improve on their most successful season in 20 years. Pittsburgh went 79-83 but stumbled down the stretch.
