JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Jacksonville could be without starting receivers Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts III at Buffalo on Sunday.

Both wideouts apparently were injured in practice Wednesday. They sat out practice Thursday: Blackmon because of a groin injury, and Shorts with a hamstring injury.

Blackmon leads the team with 38 receptions for 548 yards and three touchdowns. Shorts has 36 catches for 747 yards and six scores. Shorts set a single-season franchise record with four receptions of at least 50 yards.

Playing without them would be a huge loss for Jacksonville (2-9).

Laurent Robinson is on injured reserve after sustaining his fourth concussion, leaving the team with rookie Kevin Elliott and two players added to the roster Tuesday. The Jaguars signed Quan Cosby off the street and Toney Clemons off Pittsburgh's practice squad.
