Week 10 recap: District play wraps up

The Suncoast will be well represented this year in the 2013 Florida High School Football playoffs.

Here are the teams that have made it:

  • Booker (First appearance since 2007)
  • Cardinal Mooney (First appearance since 2008)
  • Charlotte
  • Hardee
  • Manatee
  • Palmetto
  • Port Charlotte (First ever district championship)
  • Riverview (First appearance since 2008)
  • Sarasota (First appearance since 2007)
  • Venice

In other action Friday night, Manatee won its final regular season game of the season, by defeating Palm Harbor University 48-14. The Hurricanes end the regular season undefeated once again.


Playoffs matchups on November 15th will be:

Vero Beach at Manatee

Riverview at Central (Ft. Pierce)Pinellas Park at Sarasota

Palmetto at East Lake (Tarpon Springs)

Eau Gallie at Port Charlotte

Charlotte at Melbourne

Venice at Armwood

Dunbar at Hardee

Booker at Island Coast (Cape Coral)
