BRADENTON - Jordan Miller of Bradenton Christian longs to play on the PGA Tour, and from what we’ve seen, that is not out of the realm of possibility. And for that he is our ABC 7 Athlete of the Week.

Jordan miller is one of the most -- if not the most -- accomplished golfer in Manatee County history. His reputation preceded him at Bradenton Christian.

"I heard about Jordan when he was in elementary school, so as a coach I was excited about him. Jordan has a number of records for tournaments, both in our area and beyond," says Panthers golf coach Joel Van Ryn.

He is without a doubt the most acclaimed golfer in the school's history. He was a 6-time Conference Player of the Year. “It feels pretty special because of the golfers that have gone through there when I was young on the team. I am really honored to play for the school, and to have my name on the banner is special," says Miller.

He is headed to Florida Gulf Coast University on a golf scholarship, and then after that the PGA Tour is a possibility. He wants to make it a probability. "Definitely want to get there and go out there and play, and hopefully make a living off of it."

"I think he is willing to put the work in. I believe he has the required skills. We hope to see him there. I think it is a realistic goal," says Van Ryn.

Congratulations to Jordan Miller of Bradenton Christian. He is our ABC 7 Athlete of the Week.
