SARASOTA COUNTY, FL - After a recent officer involved shooting, the drug known as "spice" is once again under the spotlight.

"Spice" is sold in some convenience stores on the Suncoast, and there have been numerous law enforcement efforts to change that.

It has also led to the hospitalization of some users, and there is even a new treatment program for users at a local substance abuse center.

ABC 7 Reporter Bobeth Yates is taking a closer look at the situation.

Cops, Courts and Politicians are responsible for the damage being done by synthetic marijuana because it is THEY who have been attacking and murdering their fellow citizens over the SAFE, natural alternative.
