Shelter Boxes are heading to the Philippines

LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL - With 10,000 feared dead, and several hundred thousand more displaced in the Philippines, Shelter Box is offering some hope.

The company, started and based in the United Kingdom, calls Lakewood Ranch it's U.S. headquarters.

The company is sending aid boxes to an area of the Philippines that has been devastated by Typhoon Haiyan.

The boxes include a tent, water purification aids, blankets, tools, children's activity kits and more.

ABC 7 Reporter Todd Dunn will bring you the story.
