Sarasota man launches bid for Congress, at 101 years old

SARASOTA, Fla. - At age 101, Joe Newman says that he has the experience to help lead this country.  And who could argue with that?

That's part of why the Palm Aire resident has launched a bid for Congress as a write-in candidate to defeat Vern Buchanan in this fall's election.

ABC 7's Linda Carson spoke with Newman on Tuesday, and has a full report HERE.
