MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Performers with the Ringling Circus will once again call the Suncoast their home this winter, continuing a long tradition of circus performers spending their down time here.

Beginning this November, dozens of Feld Entertainment live-aboard train cars will settle in near Port Manatee, where their residents will spend the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

While here, many of the performers will commute daily to Feld's Palmetto headquarters as they prepare for the next round of shows.

The performers have spent the last 20 years wintering in Tampa.
