NORTH PORT, Fla. - Detectives with the North Port Police Department raided a home Wednesday and seized over $2 million worth of synthetic marijuana.
Operating on a tip from the Lee County Sheriff's Office, police served a search warrant at a home in the 13500 block of Tamiami Trail, just off Biscayne Drive, Wednesday morning.
Inside the home, they found what they say is an operation for manufacturing, packaging, and delivery of synthetic marijuana, also known as K2.
33-year-old Sayed Mohammed Jan was arrested and charged with:
- Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance
- Sale, Manufacture, Delivery of controlled Substance within 1000 ft. of a Church
- Sale and Manufacture, and Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia
- Rent a Structure or Conveyance to Sell, Manufacture, and Traffic Drugs
