VENICE, Fla. - A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing without landing gear Friday morning at Venice Municipal Airport.

The pilot, Richard Moran, was able to walk away without injury.  City officials say he was flying to Venice to "receive aviation services".

NTSB is on the way to investigate.  It's not known what caused the malfunction at this time.

The plane, a Beech G33, is registered to Venice Wings, Inc. and was built in 1971.

ABC 7's Josh Taylor is at the scene and will have more info as it becomes available.
