(BPT) - As summer comes to a close, families are preparing to go back to school. A new back-to-school shopping trend report, revealed by Office Depot, indicates teens have more influence over parents as they age and 84 percent of students go beyond the recommended school list to add a personalized touch to their supplies. More than half prefer trendy or customizable items to simple items because it allows them to make a bold statement about their personality.
