(BPT) - New to the road, teen drivers are still honing their skills behind the wheel. But did you know that teen drivers are 1.8 times more likely to get in an accident than the average driver? In fact, one out of five teen drivers will have an accident within their first year of driving. Before turning over the keys, parents should take the time to educate themselves and their teen about the safety risks and insurance implications of unsafe driving.
