BOGOTA (AP) - Colombian police are waiting for the extradition of a drug trafficker they say was one of the main suppliers of Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman.

Police say Jorge Milton Cifuentes Villa was captured in Venezuela late Thursday and will be deported to Colombia in the coming days. A U.S. Florida court is also asking for his extradition on drug trafficking charges.

Known as "JJ," Cifuentes Villa was captured with the help of tips provided to Colombia's Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Interpol.

Guzman's daughter was captured last month at San Diego's San Ysidro border crossing. The 31-year-old hasn't provided any clues that might produce the arrest of the leader of Mexico's Sinaloa cartel, who's also one of the world's most sought-after drug lords.
