SARASOTA, FL (WWSB) - The body of a man who went for a swim in a Sarasota lake and never returned has been found.
Na'im Hunter of Tampa was last seen just before midnight on Sunday near Regent Place and Camelford Drive in Camelot Lakes off Gantt Road and Clark when, wearing only a pair of boxers, he jumped into a lake and wasn't seen again.
His clothes were found near the lake and his cellphone was found in a nearby residence where he had been staying. Hunter was reported missing around 2am on Monday.
Deputies were called to Camelot Lakes early Tuesday morning after a body was seen floating in the water. The underwater recovery team found Hunter's body just before 9am.
Deputies say their investigation is ongoing and an official cause of death will be determined and released by the Medical Examiner's Office.
