PARRISH, FL (WWSB) -The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is breathing a sigh of relief now that K9 Deputy Boss has been found.
K9 Boss went missing Wednesday morning. He was doing his morning routine when he became distracted and took off running into the woods near the Foxbrook communities, off County Road 675 in Parrish.
Around 5:45pm, a resident on the 15,000 block of County Rd 675 spotted Boss and called the sheriff's office.
The deputy is being being checked out at the vet and is is doing well. The sheriff's office says he should be back to duty in no time.
