SARASOTA, FL (WWSB) - The city of Sarasota will host a series of community meetings to gather input on future improvements to the Bobby Jones Golf Club on Tuesday, June 13th and Wednesday June 14th.
Last year, the city engaged Richard Mandell Golf Architecture, INC. to develop a comprehensive golf course master plan for the historic municipal course. Mandell and his team conducted six walking tours of the three-course, 45-hole club and met with more than 100 golfers, neighbors, residents, city staff and other stakeholders.
The meetings will allow the community to provide additional input on the course's future.
The June 13th meetings are 2:00 p.m at Payne Park auditorium and 5:30 p.m at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex. The June 14th meetings are 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
