ENGLEWOOD, FL-The Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify a man who is alleged to have taken several packages of beer from a local convenience store this past weekend without paying for the items.

On Sunday May 11, a white male in his mid-20’s entered the Circle K Store, located at 2035 Beach Road in Englewood, walked to the beer cooler and selected a six-pack of Bud-Light, a six-pack of Bud-Light Lime and a 12-pack of Bud Light beer.

The man stood in line for a short time while holding the items, but then put the 12-pack of beer on the floor and left the store with the two six-packs without paying for them.  It is not known how he left the area or in what direction.

The man is described as having a goatee, wearing a white hat, light blue T-shirt, dark shorts and sandals.

Anyone with information concerning the identity of this man is asked to please call the Sheriff’s Office at (941) 639-2101 (ask for district detectives), or Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477).
