Tallahassee, Fl - A sit-in at the Florida Capitol stretches into a 7th day and night.
A student group called "The Dream Defenders" has been demonstrating since last week's not guilty verdict in the George Zimmerman trial.
They want Governor Rick Scott to call a special session of the legislature to repeal Florida's stand your ground law.
The governor so far has refused -- and so have the students to leave.
It is estimated the state has run up nearly $98,000 in security costs, due to overtime and the need to have officers present because of the ongoing sit-in.
