TALLAHASSEE, FL - U.S. Senator Bill Nelson is calling for an investigation into problems with the state's new jobless claims computer.

Nelson has asked the U.S. Department of Labor to look at delays and other problems experienced by unemployed Floridians seeking unemployment insurance benefits.

Florida switched to a new $63 million online claims system earlier this month.  The Executive Director of the Department of Economic Opportunity insists his agency is working to fix problems.
