A Minnesota-based company has filed permit requests with the City of Tallahassee to transform the former Ramada Inn, located at North Monroe and Interstate 10, into a new Radisson hotel.

According to the documents filed with the City, the developer is proposing a 186 room hotel called Radisson Hotel and Conference Center. The main building would be renovated and a fifth floor added to the east wing of the complex. It currently has four floors. Of the 186 rooms, 110 rooms will be newly constructed; the remaining 76 would be renovated.
