More nesting turtles getting disoriented in Fla.

SARASOTA--More and more turtles are becoming disoriented according to officials at Mote Marine Laboratory.

Scientists say twenty-three turtles have recently been found disoriented and in need of help. The reasoning behind the spike isn't clear, but it is believed light pollution is a contributing factor.

Experts urge people who live near the beach to turn off lights at night and pull in beach furniture to make sure the turtles stay safe when they lay eggs and when they hatch.
