BRANDON, Fla. (AP) — Detectives are searching for a gunman who allegedly shot two men at a central Florida home, forcing a nearby elementary school to go on lockdown.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies say two men have been transported to the hospital after being shot in Brandon early Thursday. Detectives are questioning two others and say they're looking for two other men who were also at the home at the time of the alleged shooting. Sheriff's spokesman Larry McKinnon said there were multiple reports of people scattering from the scene after the shooting.

The Tampa Bay Times (http://www.ittybittyurl.com/2C0w) reports deputies are awaiting a search warrant to enter the residence.

Authorities said one of the victim's injuries was potentially life-threatening.
