MADISON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL)-- Madison County deputies arrest a man they say was riding a stolen scooter on a sidewalk with a bag of marijuana.

They say 19-year-old Anthony Miller, Jr. was riding the scooter along US-90. The deputy who stopped him smelled marijuana and discovered the scooter was reported stolen back in June from Tallahassee. Miller told deputies he thought the scooter was stolen when he purchased it for $200, but said he did not know the person's name who he bought it from. He is charged with possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.
