LARGO, FL. - A 4th grade teacher has been charged with sending nude images to a teenager after they were caught together in a rec center bathroom.

According to the Largo Police Department, they were called to Highland Recreation Center to investigate a report of an adult female and a juvenile being seen entering a unisex restroom on the 2nd floor. The two remained inside the restroom for approximately 10 minutes before police units arrived.

During questioning, 45-year-old Lesley R. Brown and the teen said that nothing occurred and they locked the door, because they heard voices and didn't want it to appear as if something was going on.

Brown said she goes to the gym 3 days a week and the 17-year-old juvenile is her workout partner and spotter.

The mother of the juvenile was called to take custody of her son and Brown was issued a Trespass Warning for the complex by Recreation staff.

Later that evening, Largo Police obtained cell phone images found on the teen’s cell phone containing nude pictures of Brown, which also included lewd text communication.

On Tuesday, detectives and officers of the Largo Police Department located and arrested Lesley Brown on 2 felony counts of Transmission of Material Harmful to Minors. She has been transported to the Pinellas County Jail.

Brown is employed by the Pinellas County School System as a 4th grade teacher at Fuguitt Elementary.

The relationship between the two is not in any way affiliated with her position as a teacher nor did the two meet in an educational setting.
