TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. (AP) - A middle school student is accused of shoving a Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputy on a school bus, causing him to fall and break his finger.

Authorities say the incident occurred Thursday afternoon. A sheriff's deputy noticed a school bus pulled over on the side of a road. The driver had stopped after a fight broke out between students. According to the sheriff's office, two Temple Terrace police officers also stopped and boarded the bus with Deputy Troy Fallin.

A 15-year-old Greco Middle School student told them he wanted to leave. Officials say when he was ordered stay, the teen shoved Fallin into the dashboard. The teen was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and was held in a juvenile facility. Four other teens were arrested on battery charges.
