BRONSON, Fla. (AP) - The Florida Highway Patrol is monitoring roads in Levy County for poor visibility caused by smoke and fog.

Troopers say motorists in the area of County Roads 345, 346 and Northwest 45th Street are urged to use caution driving Friday morning. A controlled burn on a 40-acre field may contribute to poor visibility in the area.

The FHP urges motorists that conditions could deteriorate quickly especially in the early morning and late night hours. They say drivers should reduce their speed and use low beam lights to better adapt to poor driving conditions.
