TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Little by little investigators have released information about the death of FSU Law Professor Dan Markel hoping to bring his killer to justice.

So far police have not named a suspect in this case.

Tallahassee Police have now released a portion of the 911 call that was made on July 18 by a concerned neighbor who heard a "loud bang" and called police. 

According to the call, Markel was found by a neighbor after he was shot. The neighbor can be heard telling the dispatcher that Markel was shot while he was sitting in the driver's seat of the car and that the garage door was wide open.
