Woman sought for stealing basket of items from Walgreens

NORTH PORT, Fla. -Detectives are looking for help identifying a woman they say shoplifted from the Walgreens store on Tamiami Trail at Sumter Boulevard.

According to North Port Police, officers responded to the Walgreens at 9pm Thursday night in reference to a complaint of a shoplifter.

Store staff says a white female ran out of the store carrying a blue basket which contained multiple stolen items. The suspect got into the passenger side of a 1970-80’s gray Mercedes convertible, with a possible Michigan tag. 

There was an older white male driving.
