VENICE, Fla. - Venice Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man they say is responsible for several recent flashings in the Venice area. Two other men have already been arrested for exposing themselves in the area.
Police say 30-year-old Joshua Moss is the man involved in two incidents in the area of the Venice Avenue Bridge and another incident in the area of the Hatchett Creek Bridge in recent weeks. They say the same suspect had exposed himself at Kilwin’s Ice Cream store, on West Venice Avenue on August 12th.
Ross had recently been arrested for trespassing at Venice Regional Medical Center.
Moss, who is homeless, is believed to be staying in and around the Venice/ Nokomis area. At this time we are asking that if anyone sees or comes in contact with Moss that they call their law enforcement provider.
Police have already made two other arrests for indecent exposure in the Venice area recently. On Saturday, 50-year-old William Waldman was caught in a lewd act in the Sharky's parking lot. He was arrested and charged with five counts of Indecent Exposure, including one incident in which he left a note for women at the beach offering them $200 for a lewd act.
The day before that, 76-year-old Albert Hickerson was arrested at Caspersen Beach after undercover police, who were searching for Waldman at the time, saw him exposing himself.
