Venice family, 2 children injured in rollover crash

VENICE - A Venice family, including 2 children, were rushed to the hospital after their SUV lost control and rolled over.

It happened Wednesday around 8 am on Border Road and North Havana Road in Venice.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 32-year-old Vanessa Ball was headed westbound, when she left the roadway and hit the shoulder. She attempted to pull back onto the road but over-corrected causing her to lose control. The SUV overturned several times.

Two adults in front were taken to Bayfront Medical Center with serious injuries. The two children were taken to Venice Regional with minor injuries.

No word yet on charges.
