VENICE, Fla. - The state fire marshal is looking into what sparked a business fire in Venice early Monday morning that caused extensive damage.

The fire broke out just after midnight at the A-Star Auto and Truck Sales in the 300 block of Warfield Avenue in Venice.

The business was fully involved when firefighters arrived on scene. It took thirty minutes to extinguish the flames.

No one was hurt, and responding units from Venice Fire and Sarasota County Fire departments were able to keep the fire from spreading to adjacent businesses.
