SARASOTA, Fl. - The search is over for three suspects in a Tampa-area murder, and it ends on I-75 in Sarasota.

Suncoast law enforcement played a big role in the arrests of Russell Beasley, Brandan Green and Lawrence Bongiovanni.

Sarasota County Sheriff's deputies pulled over the car containing Beasley and Green just after 6 p.m. Wednesday evening on I-75, near the Fruitville Road exit.

Charlotte County Sheriff’s investigators arrested Bongiovanni hours earlier.

The search for these men may have ended on the Suncoast, but it began about an hour north of Sarasota at a 7-Eleven store in Riverview.

Hillsborough County investigators say the three men robbed the store for scratch-off lottery tickets and fatally stabbed the clerk, 54-year-old Kenneth Redding.

Sheriff’s deputies say a customer found him bleeding on the floor and called 911.

Store surveillance cameras captured the robbery and the stabbing, helping police identify the suspects and issue a “BOLO” for their vehicle.

The three men will remain in Suncoast jails overnight and are expected to make first appearances on Thursday morning.

Afterwards, they will be released to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
