CHARLOTTE COUNTY - Christmas arrived a little early Tuesday for a Suncoast 6th grader. He received a holiday surprise sure to trump any other item on his wish list.

Senior Airman Shayne Brooks showed up at L.A. Ainger Middle School in Rotonda West Tuesday afternoon to surprise his younger brother, Garret Legan.

Garret and Shayne haven't seen each other at Christmas in four years, because Brooks has been serving overseas.

Tuesday, with help from Garrett's mom and principal, Shayne surprised his brother in class. Garrett said his only wish this Christmas was to spend it at home with his big brother.
