NORTH PORT, Fla. -  It was inside the walls of her home that North Port police say Sally Clarke molested a nine-year-old boy on fourteen separate occasions this past January.

"Our detectives received a call from...the Department of Children and Family Services, of a child who they had to investigate in reference to allegations of lewd and lascivious on that child," said Captian Anthony Sirianni of the North Port Police Department.

According to police reports, the victim told authorities Clarke used her hand to touch his penis, also stating that this occurred over his clothes. Authorities say Clarke is a relative of the victim but won't say what the relationship is.

Police, along with Sarasota County School Officials, also confirm that Clarke was an employee of the school district.

"She wasn't exactly a teacher with the school board, she performed various functions for the school board," said Sirianni.

School officials told ABC7 News that Clarke was a "classified substitute," which means Clarke would help out in various support roles including as an aide in school clinics and cafeterias.

Those schools where she worked include Cranberry Elementary, Toledo Blade Elementary, and Atwater Elementary, as well as Glenallen Elementary, Lamarque Elementary, and Woodland Middle School.

Despite those postings, authorities say none of the abuse happened on school grounds.

Clarke is facing three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation on a child.
