I am totally against allowing property owners from having chickens. Not all people will follow the rules and before you know it they will have more then 4. To many problems can result from this proposal and it should not be approved. The Mayor should put and end to this. There are more important issues to discuss and solve. North Port is a city. If people want to own chickens move to the farm areas.

The new city commissioners need to begin to refocus their priorities! They are taking the city backwards with the Warm Mineral Springs fiasco, dumping the economic development volunteer boards and now the crucial issue is chickens? Let's see......the. zoning board is overloaded (just drive down the streets to see the trash in some of the yards, tall grass etc and now they will enforce chickens? ?? Please do the right thing!
