NORTH PORT, Fla. - The City of North Port hosted a workshop to discuss the future of Warm Mineral Springs on Monday.

There was much public interest in the discussions, including a group of protesters who gathered outside North Port City Hall who hope to see the spring re-open.

In October, a vendor who was supposed to take over and manage the springs, but backed out because of the numerous repairs needed at the landmark, which closed in July.
