PUNTA GORDA, Fla. - Detectives are looking for information on the reported theft of a dump truck last week from a Punta Gorda business.

On Thursday October 31st, deputies responded to Allstar Disposal & Hauling on Duncan Road in Punta Gorda concerning a missing dump truck.

Employees reported that the 2005 white Mack truck was parked at the business on the evening of Wednesday October 30, but it was gone when they arrived at work at about 5:30 am on Thursday.

The truck has the company’s name printed in blue on both doors and has the number “02” on the hood. It is missing the cover for the driver’s side horn and should have Florida tag N1734S attached. Even though it is designed to transport a dumpster, there was no dumpster on it when it was taken.

The truck has been entered into the state-wide database as a stolen vehicle.

Anyone with information concerning the theft of the truck is asked to please call the Sheriff’s Office at (941) 639-2101, or Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477).
